Elizabeth Demas leads the Real Estate, commercial litigation, complex property litigation, and creditor's rights areas of Clarke Demas & Baker.

Beth’s practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as complicated litigation. She is an experienced trial attorney and has practiced in the Probate, Superior, Bankruptcy and Vermont Supreme courts, as well as before the U.S. District Court. She has assisted clients in zoning appeals, boundary disputes, landlord tenant disputes, quiet title actions, and has represented commercial and corporate clients with difficult contract disputes. During her 20 years of practice Beth has performed hundreds of real estate transactions, ranging from residential purchases to the creation of sophisticated
common interest communities.

Beth received her B.A. degree from St. Michael’s College and completed her clerkship with Wilson Powell Lang & Faris in 1989. She is a member of the Vermont, Chittenden and American bar associations; Maple Leaf Farm Board of Directors, 2002-2006; President from 2007-09, Chittenden County 4-H leader 1992-2003.

She has lectured extensively and is a co-author of publications including "Liens and Credit Issues”, National Business Institute; 1994-5 “Advanced Real Estate in Vermont” 1996, National Business Institute; and “Vermont Foreclosure and Repossession”, National Business Institute, 2000, and 2001.

Beth lives in Jericho with her family.
